Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and clinical experience to independently assess and diagnose patients with a range of psychosocial issues related to substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

• Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that are client-centered and evidence-based, focusing on their unique needs and recovery goals.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using proven methodologies such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral activation to drive positive outcomes.

• Coordinate care with fellow clinicians, primary care providers, and behavioral health specialists to promote a holistic approach to treatment.

• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, both in-person and virtually, ensuring that treatment goals are being met and making adjustments as necessary.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications prescribed by our medical team, monitoring for adherence, side effects, and overall treatment effectiveness.

This position is primarily focused on individuals undergoing detoxification as well as those in need of mental health support related to substance use. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Georgia.
