Position Summary We’re hiring a Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting across multiple divisions, with a primary focus on Professional staffing. This role will also support roles in Manufacturing & Distribution, Office, Legal, Marketing and Creative depending on business needs. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing top talent, and for building strong, ongoing candidate relationships that reflect Dawson’s commitment to excellence. What you'll be doing: Candidate Acquisition Source candidates through a variety of methods: job boards, social media, direct outreach, networking, referrals, and community partnerships. Build talent pipelines by developing relationships with local colleges, industry groups, and professional associations. Attend and represent Dawson at hiring events, job fairs, and community workforce events. Candidate Screening & Evaluation Review resumes and credentials to assess qualifications and alignment with open roles. Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and fit. Coordinate and complete all pre-employment requirements: reference checks, assessments, background checks, and other screenings as needed. Placement & Hiring Support Match candidates to current and future job opportunities based on their skills, preferences, and availability. Collaborate with Account Managers to present qualified candidates and facilitate interview processes. Guide candidates through the hiring process, including interview prep, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Relationship Management Maintain strong, consistent communication with candidates—before, during, and after placement. Support candidates throughout their employment, resolving issues and providing guidance as needed. Maintain an accurate and organized candidate database that reflects division-specific needs. Team Collaboration & Communication Partner with sales and service teams to understand client needs and deliver outstanding talent solutions. Document all candidate activity in a timely and thorough manner. Share market insights and candidate feedback to continuously improve the recruiting process. Meet individual recruiting goals and support overall team performance through collaboration and accountability. Who we're looking for: Education Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or a related field. Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and manage expectations with professionalism. Skills Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruiting tools/applicant tracking systems. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management. Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
