The ultrasound tech must be a graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, be board eligible or a graduate from a 2‑year allied health program, have ARRT certification and be board eligible for ARDMS certification. Under the supervision of the attending Physician, the Ultrasonographer must perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the subsequent evaluation and treatment of patients. The candidate must possess excellent ultrasound techniques to perform OBGYN exams. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patient evaluation and treatment. Position and transfer patients as needed. Select appropriate technical factors on an individual basis. Maintain records of examination data and pertinent patient information. Qualifications Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, or be board eligible, or graduate from a 2‑year allied health program. Have ARRT certification.
