Overview Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Who: A well-established professional services firm. What: Seeking a strategic, data-driven CFO to lead financial modeling, capital strategy, and M&A execution as part of a 3-person executive team. When: Hiring immediately to support the company’s growth and acquisition initiatives. Where: Atlanta, GA – Local candidates only; this is an in-office executive role. Why: The company is entering a growth phase with plans to double in size over five years through acquisitions and service line expansion. Office Environment: Collaborative and fast-paced with a structured leadership model and culture-first values. Position Overview This executive role is ideal for a finance leader with strong banking and analytical capabilities, ready to take charge of financial strategy in a scaling, acquisition-driven environment. The CFO will report to the board and serve as a peer to the CEO and COO, leading high-level financial planning and execution—not transactional accounting. Key Responsibilities Develop financial models, forecasts, and predictive analytics for planning Lead M&A efforts, including diligence, deal modeling, and integration Manage banking relationships, debt structures, and covenant compliance Implement advanced capital and cash management strategies Deliver profitability insights across clients, teams, and service lines Collaborate with internal data teams using tools like Power BI Represent finance in board-level strategy discussions Lead and mentor a finance team and oversee external CPA relationships Qualifications Proven CFO experience or a Controller-level leader ready to step up Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital strategy Background in managing M&A transactions and banking relationships Comfortable with analytics platforms (Power BI or similar) Familiarity with EOS or structured leadership frameworks preferred CPA, MBA, or equivalent credentials a plus Must be located in Atlanta and thrive in an in-office leadership role If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now. #J-18808-Ljbffr Staff Financial Group
