• Experience: Orthopedic experience required (Zimmer, Arthrex), with ability to handle multiple specialties including ortho, ENT, gyn, spine, urology, cataracts, and general surgery

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $31.35 to $46.59 (based on experience)

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy OR setting.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, predominantly orthopedic cases such as total joints and sports med.
• Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment, and ensure sterile conditions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgeons' techs, and support staff to ensure smooth case flow.
• Monitor patient status and provide post-op care instructions.
• Assist with case paging, charting (Meditech Expanse preferred), and cleaning/organizing surgical instruments.
• Float to SPD when necessary, assisting with instrument sterilization and supply management.

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum orthopedic experience (Zimmer, Arthrex)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, proficient with multiple specialties
• Flexibility to work various shifts with no weekend or holiday work required

About the Assignment:

This role is based at Manhattan Surgical Hospital, a physician-owned, small, lean facility with six OR suites. The hospital performs approximately 20 surgeries daily, with a focus on orthopedic, sports medicine, ENT, GYN, spine, and urology cases. The team is dedicated, efficient, and team-oriented, ensuring optimal patient outcomes with a collaborative approach. Staff are expected to be proficient across specialties, help maintain a clean and sterile environment, and support both OR and SPD tasks as needed.
