Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in students' lives as a full-time onsite Occupational Therapist working with a high school caseload for the full 22/23 school year. This engaging contract opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate alongside multidisciplinary teams and support student growth and success in an educational setting near San Jose, CA.
You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, providing high-quality therapy and collaborating with staff and families to develop and implement effective strategies. This role is ideal for those looking to expand their experience within schools, as well as clinicians who are passionate about impacting youth through skilled, compassionate care.
Ideal candidates possess:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- Previous experience working with adolescent populations in a school setting
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities
- Skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and execution of therapy programs
- Comfort adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Motivation to contribute meaningfully over the course of a full academic year
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct OT services to high school students
- Developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and documentation
- Collaborating with special education teams, parents, and teachers
- Conducting assessments and implementing targeted interventions
- Supporting students with fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skill development
