Craft Customized Care Plans: Assess patient needs and devise individualized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional aspirations

Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply scientifically supported methods to elevate patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and their ability to perform everyday activities

Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Cooperate closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, well-rounded care

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to facilitate sustained recovery at home

Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as required to keep patients on their journey to recovery

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and available

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in the state

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
