Contract | Nights | 3×12 or 4×12 Hours (19:00-07:30) | Expected 84 hours per two-week pay period (alternating one week of 3×12, one week of 4×12) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU unit with a 1:4/5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care and continuous assessment
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Adhere to unit protocols and maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout each shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Kentucky state license or active compact RN license required at time of submission - no exceptions
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity stepdown or progressive care environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to fluctuating census and staffing conditions
• Familiarity with float responsibilities across multiple unit types
