About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour or Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience required License: Active KY or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: - 2 years of previous PCU/Stepdown experience - AHA BLS & AHA ACLS, NIH certifications - Active KY or compact license - Flu vaccine required Description: The position is for a stepdown unit with a 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratio. The candidate must have experience in a similar environment. Float within the scope of practice is required. Every other weekend is required. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. All facilities operate on a Schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted. Ratios may fluctuate based on census, call-ins, etc. No edits to requested time off or timecards will be accepted once the offer has been made or the pay period has closed. The orientation is conducted bi-weekly. The resource must reside within a specified distance from the facility to be considered. Confirmation of assignment needs to be submitted within a specified timeframe after accepting the offer. A valid driver's license and appropriate cover sheet are required for all submissions. Candidates should not be submitted to more than one job at a time.
