Content Strategist

Our client, a leader in financial and tax software, is hiring a Content Strategist to join their team. **This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays** In this role, you'll own the content strategy for product blogs , developing B2B content that builds brand authority, drives organic and AI search visibility (SEO/GEO), and generates demand among accountants and accounting firms. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and external agencies to execute content programs aligned with business and go-to-market objectives . Responsibilities Own and execute the end-to-end content strategy for accountant-focused blog. Manage editorial calendars, content roadmaps, and agency relationships . Develop content briefs and review content for quality, accuracy, SEO/GEO optimization, and brand voice. Track and analyze content performance , using data to optimize engagement, search visibility, and lead generation. Present strategy and performance insights to leadership while partnering cross-functionally to deliver integrated content initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 7+ years of B2B content marketing, editorial, or content strategy experience. Experience supporting enterprise technology or SaaS organizations . Strong background in SEO, with experience optimizing for AI search/GEO. Proven ability to manage agencies, lead cross-functional initiatives, and use analytics to drive content strategy. Excellent writing, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Experience marketing to accountants, financial services, or enterprise B2B audiences , Familiarity with GTM strategies, acquisition marketing Utilized tools such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Ahrefs, SEO Clarity, Profound, and WordPress.
