LayerZero Power Systems is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal customer base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers.Mechanical Assembler at LayerZero Power Systems LLC. will be responsible for the assembly of fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. This role is very detail-oriented and requires preparing, positioning, assembling, and verifying parts that go into creating our products. The Mechanical Assembler must have mechanical and technical skills for this position. LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is looking for a knowledgeable, team-oriented worker with dexterity to join our team.Primary Duties:Interpret 3D models to understand assembly process and basic computer skills (i.e. email)Use basic hand tools to assemble cabinet components (i.e. sub-assemblies, frames, main, etc.)Installation of flexibar and power cables as required by product designUnderstand torque drawings and apply them properlyInspection of parts, materials and assemblies to comply with company quality standardsReport quality issues to supervisors and leadsProperly communicating/documenting with supervision as required in the positionBe dynamic and flexible as work content evolvesExperience & Skills:Assembly in a manufacturing environment or transferable mechanical experienceMust have the ability to read assembly drawings and follow directionAbility to use hand tools & wire crimpersPhysical Requirements:Standing for extended time periods, up to the entire eight-hour shiftBending, squatting, kneeling, or climbing a stepladder while workingReaching above and forward at least 18 inchesPossessing hand dexterity and installing small hardwareInspecting parts and assembliesEducation:High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred.Why Join Us?
