Working closely with the marketing and creative teams, the Marketing Coordinator will help bring Tappan’s artists, exhibitions, new releases, and brand stories to life across multiple channels. Responsibilities Support the planning, execution, and reporting of paid and organic marketing campaigns across digital channels. Support the creation of marketing content across social, email, web, paid media, and other brand channels. Help coordinate artist launches, exhibitions, product releases, partnerships, events, and other key marketing moments. Work with the team to maintain the marketing calendar and ensure campaigns, assets, and deadlines stay organized and on schedule. Support day-to-day Shopify updates and general e-commerce tasks, including inventory adjustments, product information, merchandising updates, and other site maintenance as needed. Assist with email marketing, including campaign setup & asset preparation Support paid media initiatives through asset organization, copy development, and campaign coordination. Help maintain organized libraries of photography, video, artist materials, campaign assets, and other creative content. Assist with event planning and execution, including invitations, guest lists, production details, content capture, and follow‑up. Collaborate across teams and enthusiastically support additional marketing and creative projects as needed. Qualifications A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for learning all facets of the marketing cycle through hands‑on, entry‑level responsibilities. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Creative thinker with a strong visual sensibility and an interest in art, design, fashion, culture, and digital media. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of both small details and larger projects. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities may evolve quickly. Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other major social platforms, with an understanding of how brands communicate differently across each. Comfortable working with data and interested in understanding how creative decisions translate into marketing performance. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with artists, colleagues, partners, and vendors. Ability to receive feedback thoughtfully, learn quickly, and approach new responsibilities with curiosity. A self‑starter mentality combined with a willingness to handle administrative and executional tasks with the same level of care as creative projects. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Art, Design, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required. Previous internship, freelance, school, or professional experience in marketing, social media, content, art, fashion, design, hospitality, or a related creative field is a plus.
