This role leads cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures alignment with business objectives. The role of the Operations Manager is to provide leadership of logistics, materials, planning, and manufacturing functions and to manage these tasks directly. The key challenge is to maintain production within specific guidelines for production efficiency, labor cost, product rework, waste amounts, and control of on-hold product.Key Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operationsEnsure production targets are met while maintaining high quality and efficiency standardsDevelop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costsLead, mentor, and develop supervisors and production staffSet performance goals and conduct regular evaluationsFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementIdentify inefficiencies and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesDrive automation and process optimization initiativesMonitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelinesCollaborate with Quality teams to maintain product excellenceLead root cause analysis and corrective action processesManage departmental budgets and control operational costsAnalyze production data to improve profitability and reduce wasteSupport forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocationWork closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and Sales teamsEnsure materials, staffing, and equipment are aligned with production needsDrive alignment between operations and overall business strategyJob Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field7+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations managementProven leadership experience in a production environmentExperience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesData-driven mindset with strong analytical skillsKnowledge of manufacturing systems, ERP software, and production planningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us:Opportunity to drive impactful operational improvementsLeadership role with strong visibility and career growthCollaborative, performance-driven environmentSummaryLocation: Oklahoma City, OKType: Full time
