Duties
Maintains litigation and administrative dockets electronically, including logging incoming charge files and litigation documents, assigning them appropriately, and independently tracking case statuses.
Monitors the Legal Unit's litigation and travel budgets, coordinates with administrative staff and vendors, gathers funding information, and manages confidential filing systems.
Drafts and prepares internal litigation reports, responds to OGC information requests, assists with press releases, and prepares case filing and resolution documents.
Receives, screens, and responds to a wide range of inquiries; manages calendars, appointments, meetings, and videoconferencing for the Regional Attorney and Legal Unit.
Drafts and finalizes correspondence and legal-related documents using correct legal formatting; creates and maintains spreadsheets to track budgets and litigation activity with minimal oversight.
Contacts and communicates with members of the public, charging parties and class members, opposing counsel, courts, litigants, witnesses, EEOC staff, and others.
