Information Technology Support Specialist

Job Summary This is a core role responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s information technology systems within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of IT infrastructure, production systems, and shop‑floor technologies, minimizing downtime, and supporting both office and plant operations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, servers, and network equipment Provide technical support to office staff and production floor personnel Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues impacting manufacturing systems Support and maintain manufacturing systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP,), MES systems. Monitor network performance and ensure uptime of plant‑floor connectivity Manage user access, permissions, and cybersecurity controls Maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and system documentation Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during system maintenance Support barcode scanners, PLC interfaces, printers, and other production‑related devices Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards Work with external vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar are a plus. Preferred Qualification 2+ years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking technologies. Familiarity with industrial automation systems, PLC‑connected devices, MES systems, or manufacturing technology is highly desirable. Skills Strong communication, and problem‑solving skills. Language Skills Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required .
