About the Role

The shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor in Pomona, CA, for a working leadership role in a fast-paced, production-focused repair shop. This position combines service leadership, workflow management, customer communication, and hands-on service-writing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will help lead daily operations, improve shop performance, support sales growth, and maintain strong communication between the front and back of the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations
• Manage workflow between Service Advisors and technicians
• Step in as a working Service Advisor when needed
• Drive sales, closing ratios, and revenue growth
• Monitor KPIs, labor efficiency, and repair-order performance
• Maintain communication between the front and back of the shop
• Support scheduling, production, and shop flow
• Maintain customer-service and repair-quality standards
• Hold team members accountable for performance
• Build consistent processes and structure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor
• High-volume automotive shop experience
• Proven ability to drive sales and manage KPIs
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
• Ability to balance management responsibilities with hands-on service writing

Preferred Experience

• Independent repair shop or high-volume dealership background
• Flat-rate or production-based shop experience
• Record of improving sales, efficiency, or workflow
• Familiarity with modern shop management systems

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000–$150,000+ annual earning potential
