As part of a larger health care system, we collaborate with various affiliates and shared services on numerous healthcare initiatives, including a cancer center located in Needham, which is licensed under our main hospital.

• We operate a licensed 73-bed acute care community hospital.

• Our facility handles over 245,000 outpatient visits annually.

• We manage approximately 5,300 inpatient discharges each year.

• We have received national recognition from the American Heart Association's Get With the Guidelines program, earning two achievement awards: Stroke GOLD PLUS with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. The President will ensure that our hospital operates at optimal levels, providing safe, high-quality coordinated care, efficient resource management, and effective administrative services while implementing strategic and operational plans. This role encompasses executive leadership, strategic growth, and maintaining the fiscal health of our organization. The President will embrace the inclusive and collaborative culture that has contributed to our success and leverage it to further integrate into the larger health system.

Working closely with system-wide leadership and other hospital and business unit presidents, the President will advance initiatives aimed at strengthening our mission of becoming a fully integrated system of patient care, education, research, and community service. This individual will seek out new strategic partnerships within the community, ensuring a robust health system characterized by exceptional patient care programs and strong financial performance.

The President will be a dynamic operational leader with a solid background in fiscal management, continuing our culture of quality and patient satisfaction. They will be a visible and enthusiastic presence within the organization and the community, playing a crucial role in enhancing philanthropic support for the hospital.

• Defines and leads the next phase of community care strategy.

• Identifies and engages key influencers to act as change agents, involving them in the design and implementation of changes aligned with the long-term strategy and plan, Blueprint 2030.

• Communicates a compelling business case to the entire organization to secure support for significant changes and a unified community division approach.

• Takes decisive actions to establish new norms within the organization.

• Adjusts change plans and influence strategies to fit the organization's political landscape and constraints.

• Empowers the entire team to achieve newly defined strategic objectives.

• Fosters and nurtures talent to create a sense of teamwork among community presidents, boards, and direct reports.

• Delegates leadership responsibilities throughout the organization, ensuring alignment with overall strategy and direction.

• Establishes forums or practices to promote open and independent communication among team members.

• Provides the team with greater visibility within the organization, publicly recognizing their achievements and offering opportunities to contribute in other areas where they can be most effective.

• Builds trust and credibility among all community presidents.

• Forms partnerships across the organization to tackle challenges or seize opportunities.

The salary range for this position is between $360,400.00 and $425,600.00 USD annually. This range reflects the organization's good faith estimate of the expected base salary for this role at this time. Additionally, this position may qualify for performance-based incentive bonuses.
