Desired Qualifications:

• Current COMS (Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist) licensure required
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged students, preferably at the middle school level
• Ability to create individualized lesson plans according to student’s specific IEP requirements
• Collaborative approach to working with educational teams and families
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to promoting student progress and independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver customized, one-on-one orientation and mobility instruction to a designated student, focusing on both indoor and outdoor navigation
