Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a Consumer Finance Regulatory/Compliance Senior Counsel. Schedule: 100% remote or any US office Billable Hours: 1900 Responsibilities Working with financial institutions and consumer lenders Navigating and developing compliance policies, procedures, and disclosures Advising clients on the various applicable statutes and regulations as they apply to their business Qualifications Juris Doctor 10+ years of consumer litigation experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm Familiarity with the Truth-in‑Lending Act (TILA), TILA-RESPA Disclosures Rule (TRID), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and state consumer protection laws Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible Seniority level
