Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs and treatment goals of clients seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

• Design individualized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques catered to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using modalities such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to empower clients in their recovery.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment for shared experiences and collective healing among clients.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and additional healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention as needed, assessing and addressing emergencies related to substance use.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the nature of addiction, recovery processes, and resources in the community to aid in their journey.
\n
• Document all clinical activities accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards, including compliance with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate regularly in team consultations, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to support collective learning.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to enhance the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This includes clients at various stages of recovery, each bringing unique challenges and backgrounds. Your role is critical in supporting these individuals and their families as they navigate the complex path to recovery, helping them build resilience and develop coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• A strong understanding of substance use disorders and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities that promote recovery.
\n
• Proven experience in both individual and group therapy settings, specifically addressing addiction and its complexities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor with patients.
\n
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality.
\n
• Proficient ability to utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems and other technology applications relevant to mental health care.
\n
• Skilled in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of the unique barriers faced by these communities in accessing care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, reflecting the value of your expertise and commitment to our mission.
