Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and treatment goals of individuals seeking support for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include evidence-based interventions and monitor progress throughout the therapy process.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to address specific challenges related to addiction.

• Lead group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences among participants, enhancing community building and connection during recovery.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of the role will be on individuals coping with substance use disorders. Our therapists will work with a varied demographic, including adolescents, young adults, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges associated with addiction. The therapist will ensure that care is sensitive and tailored to individual cultural and personal contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented approaches, alongside a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy in an addiction treatment context.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, non-judgmental attitudes, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant digital communication tools.

• A collaborative approach to teamwork, with the ability to engage with multidisciplinary colleagues effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
