Work Environment\n

As a member of our team, you will work remotely, utilizing technology and telehealth platforms to engage with patients effectively. Our collaborative outpatient office environment fosters teamwork among licensed professionals including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, enabling integrated care. This supportive structure allows for flexible scheduling, with core business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing coverage for evening shifts as needed based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based approaches, ensuring each plan is tailored to the unique challenges faced by the patient.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to promote patient engagement and self-efficacy.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to enhance patient connection and collective healing, helping individuals share their experiences of recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies and ensure continuity of treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention support during acute substance-related emergencies, utilizing immediate therapeutic skills to stabilize patient situations.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making throughout the recovery process.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be assisting clients struggling with various substance use disorders, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health conditions. Your expertise will help these individuals and their families navigate the complex landscape of recovery, equipping them with the tools necessary to maintain long-term sobriety and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate empathically and maintain professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is required to track patient progress and treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
