Work Environment

This full-time position requires the Physical Therapist to work onsite at our outpatient facility in West Palm Beach. Our facility is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff, equipped with state-of-the-art modalities and therapeutic equipment. You will engage in a collaborative interdisciplinary treatment approach, working alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. The scheduled hours are generally 40 hours per week, with the possibility of variable weekends, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of each patient to develop customized treatment plans addressing their specific functional limitations.
• Provide clinical consultations to other healthcare providers to facilitate a comprehensive continuum of care for each patient.
• Assess, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient evaluations and their progress, ensuring adherence to established documentation standards.
• Educate and communicate with patients and their families about treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, submitting charges and documentation as required by regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring all members are informed about each patient's treatment, progress, and any necessary changes.
• Engage in community outreach activities to enhance the visibility of our services and promote community health initiatives.
• Participate in leadership functions, including mentoring support staff and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with clinical best practices and enhance expertise through self-study, attendance at in-services, and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Atmore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
