Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and needs based on their orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions, exercises, and modalities designed to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Manage a targeted caseload, providing quality care to one patient per hour while balancing efficiency with a personalized approach.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and improve patient outcomes, ensuring each treatment follows the latest clinical guidelines.
• Monitor and document patients' progress in an organized manner, utilizing tools such as WebPT EMR software for accurate record keeping.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary care approach, integrating services if necessary for comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and self-management strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Commit to continuous learning and keep abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and orthopedics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary demographic of our practice includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients typically possess private medical insurance, enabling us to focus on high-quality, personalized care without the constraints often associated with larger healthcare systems. Our therapists are dedicated to empowering these individuals as they navigate the rehabilitation process, motivating them to achieve their highest levels of function and independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent.
• Possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Showcase expertise in orthopedic physical therapy, specifically in outpatient settings.
• Have a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a private practice setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Background in sports medicine or similar specialty areas is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with patients effectively, building strong therapeutic relationships to promote adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
