Overview
Registered Nurse – OR, travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Shift: 5x8 days (8-hour days). Weekly pay: $2,655–$2,689 per week. Setting: hospital operating room. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists and coordinate the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during a surgical procedure.
- Maintain patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care, including monitoring and safety checks.
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment before, during, and after surgery.
- Support positioning, sterile technique, documentation, and handoffs to the recovery team.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure readiness of instruments, supplies, and equipment for each case.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS as required by policy or facility
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting and maintain composure under pressure
- Willingness to travel for a 8-week assignment and comply with the schedule
