Director, People Business Partner

Job Summary This role provides strategic business partnership with multiple senior leaders within the Finance organization to drive business results and enhance employee engagement. The Director will design and implement initiatives aligned with business goals to optimize performance, strengthen manager effectiveness, and improve employee experiences. Leveraging business acumen and data, the Director will deliver effective people solutions and programs. Essential Responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of key people processes, including talent and performance management. Coaches and develops leaders, offering insights on people, teams, and organizational growth. Uses data insights to identify trends and influence evidence‑based decisions for talent attraction, performance, and engagement. Collaborates with Employee Relations to address escalations and recurrent people issues. Analyzes organization effectiveness using data and feedback to assess people and organizational capability, and provides consultation on aligning structure with strategy and objectives. Builds consensus among stakeholders, including executive leadership, on new ideas and strategies. Leads change management initiatives for successful adoption of organizational changes. Provides continual feedback to understand and predict the implications of HR approaches and policies. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a strategic HR role interfacing and influencing senior leadership. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a metrics-driven approach. Ability to leverage analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change. Understanding of how to synthesize complex situations into actionable insights for business leaders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in organizational design and talent strategy. Proficiency in HR analytics tools and data visualization. Compensation The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Primary Location: San Jose, California – $176,500.00 to $262,350.00 annually. Additional locations – no other locations are assigned to this requisition currently. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
