Precision Racker – 2nd Shift

Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–11:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Kimco Staffing is hiring a Precision Racker for a manufacturing company in Huntington Beach. This position prepares parts for the finishing and PVD coating process by securely placing products on racks or baskets, loading and unloading coating equipment, and inspecting finished parts for quality.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

• Prepare parts for the finishing process by placing them on racks or baskets.

• Rack and un-rack products according to specifications.

• Bend pins and wires as needed to securely hold parts.

• Load and unload products from PVD vacuum coating machines.

• Learn and apply proper fixturing techniques for PVD processing.

• Select the appropriate racks based on the size, shape, and quantity of parts.

• Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet finish and quality requirements.

• Handle customer products and tools carefully to prevent damage.

• Maintain accurate traceability of customer property.

• Complete required paperwork, tags, and production documentation.

• Keep the work area clean and organized.

• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Fluent in English, including the ability to speak, read, and write.

• Basic computer skills and ability to complete paperwork/documentation.

• Mechanical aptitude and basic machine shop knowledge.

• Hands-on experience working with machinery or manufacturing equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Good communication skills and ability to report quality or production issues.

• Dependable with a strong attendance and punctuality record.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.

• Experience working with computer-controlled machinery.

• Previous experience in vacuum coating or a related manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of PVD coatings or previous plating experience is a plus.

• Ability to perform hands-on work for an extended period.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift.

• Ability to safely handle and move products and racks as required by the position.
