Sr Manager, Conferences (Portuguese Speaking)

This Senior Manager role is responsible for leading the operational strategy and execution of Gartner’s LATAM conference portfolio, while also supporting key North America events. The position owns end-to-end conference logistics, including venue management, budgeting, vendor partnerships, staffing, and onsite event delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and stakeholders. Beyond execution, the role drives regional operations strategy, identifies opportunities for process improvement and innovation, and partners cross-functionally to create a consistent, high-quality conference experience.What you will do:Flawless conference delivery of LATAM (primary focus) & NA conferencesOversee operational delivery of all logistics elements across complex in-person conferencesProject management including the ownership and adherence of conference timelines and templates to accurately deliver.Venue management including but not limited to rooms, meeting facilities, F&B, A/V production.Lead onsite staffing, include pre conference trainings, briefings and creation of staff planConstantly evaluate the experience, feedback and results then implement changes accordinglyCreate detailed post-event analysis reports and event de-briefs for review with manager/operations leads.Drive operations strategy for LATAM conferences in partnership with COEsLead communication and collaboration across LATAM conference team leadsEnsure that decision making and recommendations align with corporate strategy and objectivesSupport conference teams to transition from the design and delivery of individual parts to intentionally crafting an end-to-end audience journeyDrive consistency and innovation across the LATAM region.Develop detailed action plans to achieve growth including optimized space planning & capacity solutionsSelect and effectively manage strategic partnerships with vendorsOverall responsibility for conference budgets including preparation, negotiations, accurate and timely monthly forecasts.Collaborate with COE leaders to identify trends and regional impacts. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
