About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist for an exciting locum opportunity in Oregon . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative cardiology team with a mix of clinic, inpatient care, and weekend call .

Position Highlights

• Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Location: Oregon
• Start Date: January 2027
• Duration: 26-week assignment with potential extension
• Schedule: Approximately 2 weeks per month
• Coverage: Scheduled shifts with required weekend call
• EMR: Epic

Schedule & Responsibilities

• 8-hour clinic shifts for 3–4 days per week
• Weekend EP call 1–2 weekends per month
• Weekend responsibilities include:
  • Inpatient rounding
  • Pacemaker implantation
  • Telephone call coverage after hours
• Opportunity to perform EP lab procedures for qualified candidates
• Inpatient and outpatient practice
• Average patient volume: 3–4 patients per day
• Work alongside Interventional and General Cardiology teams

Required Procedures

• Inpatient pacemaker implantation
• Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Active Oregon license preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic experience required
• Recent clinical activity and case logs required, including electrophysiology procedures performed within the past 24 months
