Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify clients' backgrounds and specific treatment needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client requirements.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space where clients can share experiences and learn healthy coping strategies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients in distress, using therapeutic techniques to manage acute trauma reactions.

• Offer educational support to clients and their families about trauma, its effects, and available coping resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents who are recovering from various forms of trauma. This includes individuals with PTSD, survivors of abuse and neglect, and those experiencing mental health challenges related to dissociation. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
