Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Hospital Screening Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and routine reporting. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor credentials as required, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
