As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas by bicycle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a campus location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
