Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dynamic physical therapist to bring their expertise to a full-time, school-based contract role with a focus on PreK–12th grade students. This rewarding position spans the entire academic year, providing critical support to students in an educational setting. The selected candidate will play an important role in fostering student well-being and development through individualized and group-based PT interventions. Candidates will interview via Zoom and the assignment is set to commence in August, with official offers anticipated in early July.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Active North Carolina physical therapy license (required)
• Prior experience as a school-based PT, particularly with PreK–12th grade students
• Strong background utilizing ECATS or similar educational case management systems
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to supporting student independence and engagement in school environments

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students
• Providing direct therapy services and consultative support to students across grade levels
• Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes within established timelines
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating on multidisciplinary education plans
• Traveling between school sites as needed (location(s) within district to be determined)
