Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to help create accessible, functional learning spaces for all. You’ll apply your expertise as a licensed OT, delivering meaningful interventions and support focused on student success, in school settings near Matthews, NC.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active occupational therapy license in North Carolina
• Experience working in a school environment (preferred: OT-specific school-based experience)
• Familiarity with ECATS documentation and platform
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans
• Professionalism and adaptability throughout the academic year

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services for students with IEPs and 504 plans
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Supporting staff and families with strategies and resources to promote student independence
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed across a diverse caseload

Additional Details:

• Assignment runs approximately from August 10, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week
• Interviews are being conducted virtually over Zoom prior to official offers (anticipated after July 1st)
• School site/assignment location will be determined prior to start
