Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license (required)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based PT roles, ideally supporting a range of ages from PreK through 12th grade
• Familiarity and experience with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Prior exposure to interdisciplinary teams in educational settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and develop treatment plans tailored to unique IEP (Individualized Education Plan) needs
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to support students’ educational access and participation
• Maintain precise records and documentation using ECATS
• Contribute as an integral member of the Special Education team, providing professional insight and recommendations
