Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a licensed Occupational Therapist, supporting students in a dynamic K-12 school community near Charlotte, NC. This full-time, contract position involves collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate students’ access to the educational environment and foster independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold and maintain a current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina
• Experience as a school-based OT, with knowledge of best practices in a K-12 environment
• Familiarity with ECATS or similar electronic case management systems prioritized
• Outstanding communication and collaborative skills to work with staff, students, and families
• Comfortable adapting services and interventions to address a variety of student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress for students in alignment with educational goals
• Work directly with students in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills
• Support and advise educational staff in implementing accommodations and strategies that promote student participation in school activities
• Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
