Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a polished and dependable Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity, in downtown Richmond, Virginia. This highly visible role serves as the first point of contact for guests, executives, and internal team members while providing front desk, office coordination, and light administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and callers professionally while maintaining a polished reception area.

• Answer and route incoming calls, take accurate messages, and handle inquiries with discretion.

• Coordinate conference rooms, catering, mail, deliveries, office supplies, kitchen stock, and common areas.

• Assist with meetings, board materials, light document preparation, onboarding support, and general office coordination.

• Provide overflow administrative support and assist with basic accounting-related administrative tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Professional, reliable, and comfortable interacting with executives, guests, and internal staff.

• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative with office needs.

• Able to multitask, problem-solve, ask questions, and remain composed in a high-touch environment.

• Comfortable working in a formal, professional office setting.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of receptionist, front desk, administrative, office coordination, or related professional experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks exposure is helpful but not required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Experience in a professional services, private office, financial services, legal, hospitality, or similar environment is a plus.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with occasional earlier start times for board meetings as needed.

Compensation:

Contract pay is $24-$27 per hour.

Permanent salary range is $55,000-$60,000, plus annual bonus.

Work Environment: Full-time, on-site role in a professional office environment. Parking is provided.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per hour
