MRI Tech Coordinator/Lead
We are seeking an experienced MRI Tech Coordinator/Lead to join our team. In this full-time role, you will support departmental operations alongside the Director of Imaging, including staff meetings, training initiatives, process improvements, and coordination of MRI-related events. You will collaborate with the contracted research organization (AMR) to facilitate research activities and ensure compliance. Under the supervision of the Imaging Department Medical Director, you will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on safety, comfort, and an exceptional patient experience. This position reports directly to the Imaging Director and requires a strong background in MRI technology, leadership skills, and familiarity with research support.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Capable of maintaining detailed records and files
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education preferred
- Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Registered by ARRT in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 5 years' MRI experience, with at least 1 year in a lead tech role
- Current ARRT registration in Radiography
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (Kansas or applicable state)
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
- MRI Safety Officer Certification (preferred)
- Additional registries may be required based on modality assignment
