Dental Billing Specialist/Coordinator

About Us: Dr. Adrian Sanchez, DDS Cosmetic and Family Dental is a respected dental practice providing comprehensive cosmetic and family dental care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Billing Specialist to join our team and manage all aspects of insurance and patient billing.
Position Overview: The Dental Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing all billing operations, insurance claims, and patient accounts. This role requires excellent organizational skills, insurance knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and insurance companies.
Dental Billing Specialist/Coordinator
Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Insurance Management:
Submit and track insurance claims
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Process insurance payments and EOBs
Handle insurance claim rejections and appeals
Follow up on pending insurance claims
Maintain insurance fee schedules
Process pre-authorizations
Resolve insurance billing issues
part-time $18 - $23 per hour

Shift & Schedule Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri: 9:00am-5:00pm
- Dentrix
- Experience with electronic claims submission and payment processing.
- Familiarity with collections and patient financing options.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in a related field.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance plans and procedures.
- Proficiency with Dentrix
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experienced Dental Receptionist / Admin (2+ years)
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in dental billing and coding is a plus
