Marketing and Communications Assistant

Student Intermediate Level Position Summary: The UNM School of Engineering Dean’s Office is seeking a highly motivated, creative student to assist with communications and marketing efforts. This student must be able to interact professionally with students, faculty and staff. Key attributes of a student in this position are a willingness to learn, ability to proofread content and personal initiative. Duties Conduct interviews, write and fact-check news-related content for the School’s departments, newsletter and social media accounts. Take photos and/or video for stories and social media posts. Produce flyers and other graphic design projects in accordance to UNM Brand guidelines and standards. Support the SoE Marketing Manager with administrative tasks related to communications and marketing projects. Please provide a portfolio with at least three writing samples and any multimedia work you would like to share. Preferred Qualifications GPA of 3.0 or better, pursuingany degree.
