Accounting Specialist

SNI Financial is recruiting an AP/Disbursements Specialist for a corporate finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting or Finance graduate to gain hands-on experience across Accounts Payable, disbursements, reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting operations.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced accounting professionals, learning how financial transactions flow through the business while developing skills in cash management, vendor relations, financial reporting, and process improvement. You'll gain exposure to ERP systems, internal controls, payment processing, and month-end activities that provide a strong foundation for future growth within accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support vendor management activities, including payment inquiries, onboarding, and account maintenance.
• Assist with weekly payment runs, ACHs, wires, checks, and cash disbursement processes.
• Review vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and perform AP-related reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
