Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for new clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their mental health needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, offering varied modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and optimize health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions to comply with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing our billing and documentation support to minimize administrative workload.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse group, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing myriad mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse disorders, and relationship issues. As an LPC at Desert Mind, you will be equipped with the necessary resources and support to deliver effective treatments to those who are often underserved in their communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally in clinical or outpatient contexts, is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-focused therapies, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload. In addition to a robust salary, you can expect:
