Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Woodbridge, New Jersey rehabilitation center. Our modern facility fosters a collaborative atmosphere where you will work closely with two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. You'll benefit from a well-structured environment that prioritizes teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and a culture of continuous learning. The daily work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address individual patient goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each receives tailored, hands-on care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance client mobility and functionality, focusing on rehabilitation rather than dependence on medications or surgeries.
• Encourage patient engagement by designing custom fitness and wellness programs that align with their health goals.
• Deliver high-quality, empathetic care that motivates patients and fosters their progress.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously to ensure quality patient outcomes and compliance with our internal standards.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic conditions. Many of our patients are actively seeking to regain their physical abilities and return to their favorite activities, whether that be sports, work, or daily life tasks. Your role will be critical in providing them with the support and guidance needed to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary action against your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a clear understanding of the rehabilitation process and effective treatment modalities. An ongoing commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

Vitality Empower Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
