Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients to assess their mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting insights from the first consultation through the full treatment journey.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that reflect the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing established therapeutic modalities and techniques.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the treatment plans as needed to ensure efficacy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to formulate comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Follow up with clients admitted to the hospital to ensure continuity of care and smooth reintegration into outpatient services.

• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing strategic counseling to clients and their families.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in developing effective strategies to support loved ones facing behavioral health challenges.

Our primary focus encompasses various conditions, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma-related disorders, all within a supportive and empathetic context.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Possession of a current and valid state licensure as one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to empathize and connect with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting, with a solid understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline documentation and improve care coordination.

• Experience addressing complex mental health issues, including those alongside addiction disorders or physical health conditions.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge about the psychological and physical impacts of prescribed medications.
