Job Overview A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for their St. Louis, Missouri office. The role involves managing a pre-litigation caseload, building client relationships, and negotiating with insurers to resolve cases efficiently. Duties Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution. Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication. Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery. Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and legal documents. Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff. Develop referral relationships to grow your book of business. Requirements Active Missouri Bar license required. At least one year of personal injury experience preferred; relevant civil litigation background considered. Genuine client-first orientation. Organized and self-directed in a high-volume environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with legal technology and case management platforms. Eligibility Eligibility to obtain Illinois Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity). Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Missouri Bar license. Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills.
