CT Technologist

Overview We’re seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team at a respected NJ Hospital network in Northern NJ. In this role, you’ll perform high-quality CT scans, ensure accurate diagnostic images, and help maintain a smooth daily workflow. You’ll work closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide compassionate, efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment. Base pay range $40.00/hr - $58.00/hr Annual Salary: $40/hr – $58/hr (varies depending on years of experience) Key Responsibilities Prepare and operate the CT scanner in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures with precision and attention to detail Verify patient identification, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam Review and archive completed exams in PACS and properly complete documentation in the RIS Maintain imaging equipment and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and organized Stay current with new CT techniques and best practices to support continuous quality improvement Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to ensure timely patient care Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered by the ARRT in Radiologic Technology and CT Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association Minimum of one (1) year of radiologic technologist experience preferred; prior CT experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and vascular systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills Works well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.
