Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 3

Role Overview Assistant Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the 2nd and 3rd shifts, managing a team of 3 managers, 3 supervisors, and 75‑80 housekeepers reporting to the General Manager at UF Health Jacksonville. What You'll Do Drive client and patient satisfaction scores. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, working closely with the Infectious Control department. Collaborate with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director. Effectively manage the Unit Operating System. Support a diverse and inclusive workforce. What You Bring Experience leading and managing a team in a healthcare housekeeping or custodial services environment, motivating staff to exceed client expectations. Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership skills, able to work independently to ensure program compliance and meet project targets. Analytical ability to interpret data and communicate findings to all organizational levels; experience leading hospital committees and change management. Project management experience within agreed timelines. Results- and safety-driven mindset. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience: 3 years. Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years in Housekeeping, Environmental, or Custodial Services.
