Job Description
As a Front Desk Agent , you will:
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
- Issue room key and escort instructions to Bellhop.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Computesbill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger.
- Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservation, and arrange for tours.
- Assist guests with deposit of guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
- Nightly bucket checks
- Able to listen and find solutions to guests problems
Qualifications
- Experience with customer service
- Must be able to work overnight
- Must be able to start for 8 hours
