Overview We are seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our winning team at Scott Clark Honda, the largest volume Honda dealer in the Carolinas. The state‑of‑the‑art facility features 54 climate‑controlled service bays and a climate‑controlled delivery room. We strive to create a fun work environment while investing in your career goals, promoting work/life balance with a closed store on Sundays and a day off during the week. Responsibilities Greet and guide customers as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process. Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs. Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles' features. Develop and maintain a complete mastery of the Honda product knowledge. Be prepared to spend days either with a customer or in search of a customer. Treat all customers and co‑workers with dignity and respect. Qualifications Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday. Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections. Quality customer service skills and a sales track record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in‑person and over the phone. Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process. Proficient in basic business math including percentages. Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs. Persistent, competitive, and good work ethic. Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales. Assist in cleaning and washing vehicles.
