About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Executive Director for Annual Giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, with a focus on traditional, digital, and virtual engagement. This role involves collaborating with senior development staff to align giving strategies with institutional goals, managing all aspects of annual giving operations, and designing innovative donor engagement initiatives. The Assistant Executive Director will also be involved in the oversight of AI/Virtual Engagement Officer, maintaining digital tools, and coordinating key fundraising events. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 5 years' of experience in annual giving or project management. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and data-driven decision-making is required. Experience with AI tools in a professional or fundraising context is preferred, including AI-powered donor engagement platforms. The role demands the ability to work as part of a team, stay informed of higher education trends, and represent the institution at various events. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, independent thinker with the ability to cultivate and steward donor relationships effectively.
